Fifty years ago, tourism in Hamburg was much less developed compared to today. The city was still recovering from the destruction caused by World War II, and the tourism industry was just beginning to emerge. Visitors would have seen a city with a mix of historic and modern architecture, as well as the bustling port and maritime industry. The city's famous landmarks such as the St. Michael's Church and the Reeperbahn entertainment district were already popular attractions, but the overall tourism infrastructure was not as well-established as it is today. Overall, Hamburg's tourism scene was much quieter and less crowded compared to the vibrant and bustling city it is today. **

I think the idea of abolishing deep-sea fishing and expanding coastal fishing has its merits. Deep-sea fishing can have a significant impact on marine ecosystems and can lead to overfishing of certain species. By focusing on coastal fishing, we can potentially reduce the negative impact on deep-sea ecosystems and promote more sustainable fishing practices. Additionally, expanding coastal fishing can also benefit local communities and small-scale fishermen, providing economic opportunities and supporting local food systems. However, it's important to carefully manage coastal fishing to prevent overfishing and ensure the long-term sustainability of marine resources. **
