Gangsters saw off shotguns to make them more concealable and easier to handle in close quarters. The shortened barrel allows for easier maneuverability and quicker aiming, making them more effective in a criminal context. Additionally, the sawed-off shotgun has a more intimidating appearance, which can be used to instill fear and assert dominance in criminal activities. **

Shotguns are sawed off by gangsters for a couple of reasons. Firstly, sawing off the barrel of a shotgun makes it more concealable, allowing gangsters to easily hide the weapon under their clothing. This can give them an advantage in surprise attacks or when committing crimes. Additionally, a sawed-off shotgun has a wider spread, making it more effective at close range, which is often the distance at which gang-related violence occurs. **

I think the idea of abolishing deep-sea fishing and expanding coastal fishing has its merits. Deep-sea fishing can have a significant impact on marine ecosystems and can lead to overfishing of certain species. By focusing on coastal fishing, we can potentially reduce the negative impact on deep-sea ecosystems and promote more sustainable fishing practices. Additionally, expanding coastal fishing can also benefit local communities and small-scale fishermen, providing economic opportunities and supporting local food systems. However, it's important to carefully manage coastal fishing to prevent overfishing and ensure the long-term sustainability of marine resources. **
